A collaborative approach has seen the stunning results of a new office space for a globally renowned travel company.

The office space itself is 175,000sqft, over numerous floors; a place that large is needed to house the 1300 employees who are based at the site in central Manchester. An important part of the brief was clearly employee wellness, with the space being planned to include areas for all the different ways in which individuals work, along with fitness studios and a canteen restaurant to ensure their employees can be always feel their best whilst working.

A selection of our products was included in this stunning design, mostly placed within break out areas, comfortable meeting spaces and places for hot desking. The use of natural materials, such as wood along with the warm tones of terracotta, mustard and navy create a sense of comfort, meaning these break out areas are perfect for getting away from your desk when needed.

Our Snug Modular seating system has been used various zones, which creates continuity throughout the building. The Snug family are known for their comfort, with ultra-deep seats and pillow back you can sink in and relax. The Snug Modular range has seven unit choices and has allowed for the perfect sofa shape to be created to fit within the space. A couple of our coffee tables have been included throughout the office; Wrapt and Margin, which work perfectly in their own areas when paired with other products, such as the Scandi. The Scandi is a classic lounge chair, handcrafted using traditional methods with a nod to Scandinavian design in the sleek wooden legs and frame of this armchair.
