Frasers Property were looking to refurbish the communal areas of their office building, with the aim of maximizing their value with a design led approach. For this, they reached out to Woodhouse Workspace who set out to create a sympathetic design for the art deco building.

The large foyer area used to be home to an airport lounge, which both Frasers Property and Woodhouse wanted to use as an influence in the design. The pergola in the center of the lobby was heavily influenced by a flight box, the pergola itself has been used as a piece of micro-architecture that dedicates space within an overall space. Paired with planters, create three separate zones without the need for permanent walls. Using our Drive chair and Wire table to furnish, Woodhouse have created a soft area for people to relax away from their office or to use as a waiting area before meetings.

The overall space has created a welcoming, people centric atmosphere for all users to enjoy.
