Introducing Firesprite’s new office space in the heart of Liverpool, with every detail and design fulfilled by Claremont. This 40,000 square feet redesign of a beautiful, listed building has been sympathetic to the character of the aged building as well as incorporating the modern technology needed by a gaming company. The process started with Claremont hosting a series of workshops with the Firesprite team to understand what they want and need from their new space. It was clear that equality and equity were high up on the list of necessities for the company, to ensure that everyone had the best experience whilst working or visiting the workspace, regardless of their abilities and needs, as well as making sure that all areas felt cohesive and equally special.

The listed building did cause some setbacks for accessibility, meaning that Claremont had to problem solve and work around. The building itself had the interesting aesthetic of half finished plastering and original windows, columns, and parquet flooring; features which the Firesprite team wanted to preserve and incorporate into modern office environment. The three floors now consist of a vast array of spaces, from open plan gaming development areas to dedicated prayer, wellness, and nursing rooms. The Relic Cloud was selected to be used in the open plan areas as it’s a large table perfect for collaboration, with the Relic table used in the series of meeting rooms due to their easy connectivity and cable management. Snug and Boho were paired together for the nursing, prayer, and wellness rooms to create a comfortable and soft surrounding for employees to feel at ease. Throughout the building, artwork and neon lights create a cohesive décor, furthering the mix of modern and traditional.

Claremont and Firesprite worked together seamlessly to create a space for Firesprite employees to be proud of, which has clearly been successful in this beautiful project.
