Working alongside innovative office workplaces designers, Office Principles, Lock 14 was an exciting grade A office space in the heart of Birmingham.

Located at the site of a popular former nightclub and flanked by other renowned office and leisure spaces, the project required an entirely new branding scheme to create an attractive identity that would appeal to prospective tenants.

An extensive combination of Frövi products were introduced into the project to create a modern workspace that embodies the flexible, productive, modern working space that tenants are craving in a competitive rental market.

Introducing a statement centrepiece into the workspace, the Relic Cloud was chosen to provide a practical, collaborative table with mesh hanging trays, perfect for the introduction of both biophilia and atmospheric lighting options into the office. The Relic Cloud is the ideal choice for any modern workspace, available in 3 different sizes to suit the space and designed as a canvas to enable collaboration, teamwork and productivity boosting social interaction.

Comfort and style were two key elements to the success of this project. With a scattering of Scandi armchairs around the open plan office spaces that allows for employees to escape into the comfort of a handcrafted, stylish armchair. The simple, clean lines of Scandinavian design are reflected in the sleek wooden legs and frame of this armchair. The spacious webbed seat provides the perfect office seating solution and is available in a wide range of fabric colours or leather. The Scandi armchair is also a great addition into reception areas to greet guests with a warm, comfortable welcome, or for breakout areas, to encourage conversation and collaboration.

As an alternative and contrasting seating option, the Ilk High chair was chosen to bring a further statement of warmth and comfort into the environment. The flexibility to choose from either a single seater or a two-seated option allowed for unique seating arrangements to maximise the space and provide a comfortable, stylish seat that in this project was combined with Laptop Tables and Jig Caves to provide collaborative private working areas. The beautifully crafted lines and high-backed cocoon design of the Ilk High chair comes with a customisable frame, choosing from classic 4 leg or metal sled frame options on all single and 2-seater models, or the stylish Swivel 4-star or Tilt on all single seaters. The Ilk High chair is fully customisable with a wide range of fabric finishes, contrast stitching and two-tone fabric options. From anti-microbial materials to comforting wool blends, the fabric options were the perfect solution for completing the progressive finish required by the project brief.
