The UK’s leading design festival returns for 2023! We are delighted to announce that we will be showcasing our exclusive products and distinctive Frövi style at Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) 23rd-25th May 2023.
What is Clerkenwell Design Week?
Clerkenwell is home to hundreds of creative businesses, interior designers and architects, making it truly one of the most important design hubs in the world. Clerkenwell Design Week showcases the brands that call Clerkenwell home. Explore the exhibitions, installations, and showrooms with thousands of cutting-edge products for your upcoming interior design projects.
We’re looking forward to opening the doors in May, at our first CDW in our new showroom. Conveniently situated within a ten minutes’ walk of Barbican, Farringdon and Old Street tube stations and positioned in the bustling heart of Clerkenwell, our new showroom the latest example of ‘creating designs that enrich the experiences of everyday life’ as we’re planning a complete redesign in preparation for this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.
Focusing on elevating the customer experience, guests are encouraged to explore and engage with products as they journey through each of the 16 zones that make up the 5,000 sq.ft space. Each of the intimate and multi-sensory zones have been meticulously designed by our in-house expert, Matt Coules. Through careful selection and grouping of products creates zones that perfectly represent and complements the overall vision of a space, allowing guests to imagine our products in projects they are working on. Each zones offers a glimpse of the next space to explore, enabling customers to have a fully immersive and considered experience.

Exclusive to CDW 2023 – Join a ‘Inclusivity in the Workplace’ workshop
To create a better working environment, understanding how design can support all, including neurodiverse teams has become increasingly more important. Through intelligent design adjustments, the workplace can support neurodivergent employees and their individual needs to ensure they feel comfortable whilst at work to be able to perform their best.
You can discover more about the importance of inclusive design during our showroom events over Clerkenwell Design Week, join one of our hands-on workshops focusing on the importance of inclusivity and neurodiversity in the workplace. The nine sessions over the three days, will be hosted by our guest speaker, Gillian Burgis-Smith, a Cambridge University affiliated, RIBA Credited Architect and Interior Designer.

What to expect at Clerkenwell Design Week 2023…
As we prepare to be at the epicentre of creative design, we are delighted to be showcasing several of our latest innovative product releases during CDW.
Bae
New for Clerkenwell Design Week! Bae is an organic shaped modular seating system that delivers on comfort and style. Created from a bamboo base with ash legs, Bae will be available in both curved and straight unit options, which gives endless sweeping configurations for all manner of spaces. Designed to complement Bae, our Bamboo range is expanding with a curved shelving option. Allowing more natural flowing lines to be created with a subtle curve, the combination of the curved Bamboo and Bae will be able to create endless combinations. Bae has also been designed for disassembly, meaning it can easily be deconstructed for recycling, or pieces can be replaced if needed.
Bamboo
As an extension to the current Bamboo family, we are introducing Bamboo in two different radius curves. It can be built and configured in the same way as the standard range and used in conjunction with the straight zoning units.
The Bamboo curved range has been designed as a response to the emerging popularity in a more organic and fluid style of landscape within the workplace. We imagine Bamboo Curved to be used to create spaces alongside curved curtain walls and soft lounge style seating. It has been designed in tandem with another new Frovi Launch, The Bae sofa system which it compliments in materiality and in form.
Boho Chair
Boho is an exclusive new addition to our collection of comfortable, practical, and stylish armchairs. Become enveloped in the delightfully soft bulbous armchair and experience the welcoming reassurance and warmth created by its curvaceous design. An iconic and bold puffed form, combined with sophisticated ruched upholstery detailing, creates a unique organic seating experience that effortlessly promotes calm.
With a timeless, enduring shape and simple frame, the Boho armchair offers a beautiful design statement for any environment while delivering comfort, style, and practicality in excess.
Retreat
One of our new exclusive products, Retreat is a modular, zoning media system that has been designed to embrace the new ‘post covid’ way of working and modern office design. It is a modular piece of ‘micro architecture’ that delivers a practical solution with contemporary style and eye-catching design.
Sustainably manufactured using pressed Bamboo, each Retreat piece can be customised with a range of fabric finishes, optional felt lining and additional specification options to create the ideal human-centric, connected workspace.
Blume
Blume is the newest addition to our collaboration table category, a contemporary styled table that has versatility at the heart of its DNA. With a wide range of sizes and spec options to cater for any situation, Blume has a wealth of design details including complete cable management, rounded corners, and slot together assembly that only takes a few minutes to construct – ideal for a modern flexible workspace.
Wish
The timeless design of the Wish Chair not only offers an instantly recognisable silhouette, but it also delivers a functional, lightweight, and luxuriously minimalistic style that instantly enriches the quality of its environment. With roots in modernist design, the Wish Chair is a twist on a classic, with an upholstered ply seat resting upon a black metal sculpted frame, delivering comfort and opulence in abundance.
Swing
